Mary at the Flower Shop

My family's flower shop has been in business for over a hundred years. We recently lost my grandfather, the namesake of the shop and patriarch of my family. Flowers are a part of the greatest celebrations and deepest sadness in our lives. They are at the same time chaotic and orderly, natural and designed, ordinary and extraordinary. One of the youngest grandchildren, Mary, stands surrounded by her grandfather's flowers giving us all hope for the future.
