Spring Opening

Wheel thrown and altered stoneware then electric fired to Cone 6.
Glazing is layered line work, flux, dots of color, and overcoats including crystals.
The vibrant range of color and texture that occurs naturally in blooming flowers is the inspiration for this bowl. Shaped as opening petals, each tipped with intense color that transitions to veined lines, textures and colors.
