The wall hung wood and paper sculpture, was created after a visit to Southern California. Just after the historic rains in March of 2023 I visited LA and was witness to the devastation upon the homeless communities. I saw one guy who found a few small trusses he was able to cobble together into a new shelter, that inspired this piece.
