Global Aberrations #3, Feel the Heat

This relief monoprint is made with oil based inks on Stonehenge 100% rag paper. The image was created last summer in response to extreme hot weather around the US and the world. Utilizing intense warm colors and organic forms layered with a topographical map pattern, my intention is to bring to light the extreme changes happening in our natural environment. Even though the work may appear pleasing it is meant invoke awareness about global extremes and hopefully create introspection towards wanting to create a healthier planet.
